Vibrant Haldi & Mehendi Decor
The Backdrop & Stage
- Main Structure: A themed 8ft x 10ft backdrop with vibrant drapery (hot pinks, yellows, or turquoise) and floral strings or tropical foliage.
- Couple Seating: A decorated 'Jhoola' (swing) with matching flowers OR a quirky 2-seater sofa with boho-printed cushions.
- Flooring: Colorful rug or carpet for the main stage area.
Props & Installations
- Quirky Elements: Thematic props including painted pineapples, traditional brass Urlis with rose petals, or Rajasthani puppets.
- Signage: One personalized welcome board on a wooden easel with floral accents.
- Photo Op: A dedicated photobooth corner (e.g., a cycle rickshaw frame or floral frame).

Traditional Mandap & Temple Decor
The Mandap (Sanctum)
- Structure: Traditional four-pillar structure (carved wood look or fabric wrapped).
- Ceiling & Hangings: Dense hanging strings of white Tuberoses (Rajnigandha) or Jasmine mixed with brass temple bells inside the Mandap.
- Backdrop: Traditional wall using fresh banana leaves, coconut fronds, or 'Jali' patterns with marigold borders.
Entrance & Aisle
- Walkway: Entrance arch made of marigold and mango leaves (Thorana). Aisle lined with brass Kuthu Vilakku (lamps) on floral pedestals.
- Foyer Decor: Large brass Urli installation with water, floating petals, and candles.

- Flower Type: Heavy usage of fragrant traditional blooms (Marigold, Jasmine, Tuberoses, Lotus).

Doesn’t matter if you’ve got 70 guests or 300. I’ve handled Haldis, Mehendis, Sangeets, and receptions for Hindu, Christian, and cross-cultural couples. I’m based in Bangalore but I love a good destination wedding decoration gig in places like Coorg too.

Hey, we’re Amanati Events. Planners, yes, but mostly, we’re suckers for love stories. We started out chasing those tiny moments—like goofy giggles at Mehendi or that first dance under fairy lights.
