Art-Forward Wedding Designs: The Glitch Pop Experience
For couples who want to break free from tradition, we transform venues into immersive art galleries. This project was a dialogue between modern art history and celebration, creating a space where guests live inside a masterpiece.
The 'Glitch Pop' experience was a universe we created for a couple who trusted our most eccentric ideas. This room, inspired by graffiti art, featured a smiley face ball pit and a giant Kaws-inspired sculpture.
The couple at the heart of our 'Glitch Pop' universe. Their enthusiasm and belief in our vision fueled our creativity, allowing us to create a truly rare and unforgettable experience.
A room dedicated to Pop Art, inspired by Roy Lichtenstein. We had our own Indian pop artists paint on metal perforated sheets, creating a vibrant, comic-book world for the guests.
An ode to Yayoi Kusama, this immersive red room was filled with repetitive patterns and sculptural forms. The design was meant to be an engaging space that guests could walk through and experience.
This blue room was dedicated to Picasso's Blue Period. Our artists recreated facial expressions using bent tube lights, capturing the many moods of a man in an immersive, monochromatic setting.
A detail from the Keith Haring-inspired pre-dining room. This hand sculpture, covered in his iconic doodle style, was one of many art pieces that transformed the space into a tribute to the artist.
The pre-dining room at 'The Glitch Pop' was a tribute to Keith Haring's unique doodle style. The walls were covered in black-and-white art, with custom lampshades and framed prints adding pops of color.
About this collection
This project was not just about decor, it was about technical artistry. We collaborated with Indian artists to hand-paint perforated metal sheets for the Pop Art room and engineered custom neon light sculptures for the Picasso-inspired installation. If you want this level of detail, we require at least six months of lead time for planning, artist collaboration, and structural fabrication.
The Glitch Pop experience was born from a desire to move beyond traditional event aesthetics. We treated the venue as a blank canvas, dedicating each room to a different artistic movement. Our process involves deep research into the style, followed by working with local artisans to bring it to life.
Designing the Immersive
To create the Roy Lichtenstein room, we moved away from generic backdrops. We engaged Indian pop artists to paint directly onto perforated metal sheets, capturing the vibrant Ben-day dots and comic-book lines essential to that movement. Similarly, the Keith Haring room required custom fabrication of doodle-covered lampshades and upholstery, ensuring the energy was authentic to his street-art roots.
Technical and Structural Reality
These experiences are complex. For the Picasso-inspired space, we had to program lighting to match the mood of his Blue Period, while the Memphis Design room relied on precise geometric arches and kinetic ball installations. This work is labour-intensive. It is not just about placing furniture, but about building an entire environment from scratch. We handle the production, the lighting rigs, and the artist sourcing in-house, so you get a cohesive narrative rather than a collection of random ideas.
