Drawing Skills and Art Foundation Courses
We focus on building a strong foundation in drawing, coloring, and shading for students of all ages at our Dadar and Girgaon studios.
A strong foundation is key. This video shows a student practicing a fundamental coloring technique, learning to create new shades by blending oil pastels. Our basic drawing classes cover everything from holding a pencil correctly to understanding color theory.
We also offer specialized classes like our Mandala art workshop, which is very popular during summer camp. Students learn to create complex, symmetrical designs, which is an excellent activity for improving concentration and precision.
About Core Skills & Workshops
Before we move to complex shading, we start with the absolute fundamentals like understanding pencil grades, such as the difference between HB and 2B. This focus on technical clarity helps our students progress through 30+ different art subjects over five months without feeling overwhelmed or pressured.
Learning art with us is about finding a balance between technique and enjoyment. Our 5-month foundation course is structured to ensure every student masters the basics before moving to advanced concepts like perspective or anatomy. We cover core skills including object drawing, color theory, and nature drawing, ensuring students understand why a certain stroke or shade works before they replicate it.
For those looking for something shorter, we hold thematic workshops ranging from Mandala art to festival-special crafts like glass painting. These sessions are great for a creative break or to try out a new medium. We keep our batches small, with 8 to 12 students, so everyone gets individual attention.
