Original Acrylic Paintings with Impasto Texture
Paint has a physical life. I capture light through thick, heavy layers of acrylics on canvas, creating a surface that shifts as you move around it.

About this collection
Every painting here features heavy impasto application, where I build up layers of paint to create visible, palpable brushstrokes. You will feel the weight of the work as much as you see the color, as these paintings are designed to be experienced from multiple angles to catch the changing light in your room.
When you choose an original acrylic piece, you are bringing more than a visual image into your space. You are acquiring a one-of-a-kind texture. I paint on gallery-wrapped cotton canvas, finishing every piece with UV archival varnish to protect the intensity of the colors against dust and fading. The impasto technique I use creates physically raised ridges of paint, allowing the surface to interact with the natural light in your home, revealing new depths throughout the day.
Why Original Acrylics?
These works explore the intersection of Van Gogh’s raw energy and Frida Kahlo’s introspective symbolism. Each canvas is hand-signed and comes with a physical Certificate of Authenticity. For the larger narrative pieces, I ensure the work arrives as it left the studio, using professional wooden crating for safe transport. Whether it is a smaller 40x40 cm study or a large 120x90 cm statement piece, the goal remains the same: to steal a moment from time and hold it still.
If you are drawn to the messier, more beautiful side of existence, my originals are meant for your walls. They are not mass-produced prints; they are the result of hours of layering, scraping, and reflecting.
Alireza Karimi Moghaddam
I am Alireza. I believe that art is where the wound and the light meet. My work here is a series of conversations between the past and the present, meant for those who are willing to look a little longer at the canvas.
