About Balayage & Dimensional Brunettes
I don't just slap color on your ends. When you sit in my chair, I map your hair based on your natural fall and face shape. This ensures the balayage placement actually highlights your features and gives you that effortless, low-maintenance look without needing a root touch-up every few weeks.
Balayage on dark Indian hair is a specific craft. Most people get it wrong by creating harsh lines that look orange after two washes. My technique is different. I use a combination of freehand painting and, where needed, foilyage to achieve a high-lift that stays in the brunette family—think rich cocoa, warm bronze, and soft beige.
Why my Balayage stands out:
- Strategic Mapping: I look at where your hair naturally parts and how you style it daily. The dimension is placed where it catches the light, not just randomly.
- Root Melting: This is the secret to a seamless grow-out. I melt your natural base into the lighter ends so there is no obvious line of demarcation.
- Health First: Dark hair often needs a lift. I use bond-builders like Olaplex in every formula. If your hair can't take the lift, I will tell you. I would rather you have healthy hair and wait six months than fry it in one sitting.
Whether you want a subtle, sun-kissed effect or a dramatic high-contrast look, the goal is always the same: dimension, shine, and hair that actually feels soft when you leave my Indiranagar studio.
