Whether it is a Chesterfield sofa with cane accents or a custom media unit, we source materials like Burma teak and Marandi wood, then hand-build the structure to fit your specific room dimensions, ensuring the final piece feels sturdy and built just for you.
How We Build Your Living Room
When we take on a living room project, we move beyond simple aesthetics. Our process starts with your floor plan and how you use the space.
Woodwork and Frames We move away from standard factory-pressed furniture. For sofas and chairs, we use solid wood frames—often Burma teak or Marandi—that provide structural integrity. For cabinetry and media units, we offer two distinct paths:
- Standard: Commercial plywood (BWR grade) with machine-pressed laminates.
- Premium: BWP Marine-grade plywood finished with PU coatings, acrylic, or natural wood veneers, paired with high-end hardware from brands like Hettich or Hafele.
Comfort and Upholstery We pay close attention to density. We use 32-density foam for standard seating, or upgrade to 40+ density high-resilience foam wrapped in poly-fill for a plush, sink-in feel. Our fabric library includes stain-resistant textiles and luxury velvets, ensuring your sofa looks as good after a year of use as it did on day one.
Surface and Walls Your walls are an extension of the room's mood. We work with everything from premium emulsions and paints to heavy-duty wallcoverings like those from the Nilaya and Sabyasachi collections. Whether you need a textured geometric finish or a classic floral pattern, we handle the surface preparation and installation to ensure a seamless look.
