I pay close attention to the 'kunjam' and ensure the petal arrangement is tight enough to hide the internal threads completely. When you look at the photos here, you are seeing what I mean by 'perfection.' I do not believe in shortcuts or stale blooms. I head to the Bengaluru flower markets personally to pick the fresh lotuses, roses, and jasmine that go into these sets.

The Craft Behind the Bloom

• Weaving Density: For my velvet-finish rose garlands, I stack petals tightly. If you can see the thread, the work is incomplete. I ensure the density is high enough to create a seamless, solid color block.
• Tassels (Kunjam): The bottom finish of a garland is often ignored. I take time to construct heavy, balanced tassels that hang straight and add weight to the piece, giving it a premium feel.
• Hydration: Flowers wilt if they are not handled correctly. I use specific hydration techniques and moisture-retaining boxes for delivery so that your varmala or entrance arch stays fresh from the moment it leaves my studio in Sarjapura until the end of your event.
