Our Grooms: Real Weddings
Witness the intersection of tradition and modern tailoring. These moments capture the confidence my clients bring to their big day, dressed in ensembles designed specifically for their unique journey.
A real client celebrating his wedding reception. He chose a sophisticated, dark-toned embellished ensemble for the evening, looking confident and stylish as he celebrates with his partner.
About Our Grooms: Real Weddings
It is not just about the fabric; it is about the structural integrity of the garment. Notice the clean lines and how the jackets maintain their form through hours of celebration, a result of using high-grade canvas interlining and precise shoulder construction rather than standard, off-the-rack mass production methods.
When I look at these photos, I do not just see clothes. I see the culmination of a collaborative process. A wedding outfit needs to perform two distinct functions: it must look exceptional in high-definition photographs and remain comfortable for the better part of a day. Whether it is the regal weight of a hand-worked Zardosi Sherwani or the sleek, sharp precision of a tailored Bandhgala for a reception, the goal is always a silhouette that belongs to the wearer alone.
In my Shahpurjat studio, we move far beyond standard sizing. We analyze your posture, shoulder width, and how you naturally carry yourself. This is why you see such consistency in these images; the garments move with the grooms because they were constructed to do so, not merely fitted to them. For the reception evening, many of my clients are shifting toward deep-toned, textured Indo-Western sets. These allow for ease of movement, which is crucial for Sangeet or reception stage time, without sacrificing the formal authority required for a groom. We focus on the interplay of fabrics, selecting raw silk blends and velvets that catch the light, ensuring you remain the focus of every frame without looking overdone.
