The Art of Detail in Custom Menswear
High-end menswear is defined by the precision of its making. Here, we highlight the techniques that bring our garments to life, focusing on quality materials and finish.

About A Closer Look: Craftsmanship & Detail
When you look at the Pragyan shrug set, you see more than just fabric. You notice how the cream and gold embroidery catches the light, a result of dedicated hand-placement rather than machine precision. This level of detail defines our process at Forte, where every motif is considered against the fabric's drape before a single stitch is made.
The soul of quality menswear is found in the decisions made before the final press. At our Shahpurjat studio, we move away from mass production, choosing instead to focus on the interplay between traditional Indian techniques and sharp, contemporary silhouettes.
Each garment begins with a consultation to determine your style preferences. We source fabrics like handwoven silk, viscose organza, and textured suiting materials that provide the necessary structure for jackets and bandhgalas. Our process involves machine-guided construction for durability, finished with hand-highlights. For instance, the Zardosi and French knot work on our sherwanis requires hundreds of hours of manual labor, ensuring the embroidery sits perfectly on the raw silk base.
We pay close attention to the finishing touches, such as the geometric patterns on our fusion kurtas or the placement of pintucks on bandi sets. Whether you are seeking a structured tuxedo or a lighter ensemble for a sangeet, the focus remains on a fit that feels natural to your frame. We invite you to see these textures up close and discuss how we can adapt these details for your personal requirements.
Forte Bespoke
I am Arun Kaushik, and at Forte, I bridge the gap between classic Indian handwork and the clean lines of modern menswear. My workshop in Shahpurjat is where these concepts take shape, far from the assembly line. I work directly with you to ensure your outfit fits your body and your vision.
