Vertical Gardens & Green Walls
Turning blank walls into living art. Whether it's a tight balcony or a large office exterior, we design, install, and maintain lush vertical gardens that actually thrive in our climate.
This is a close-up of a dense vertical garden I installed on a client's balcony. I used a mix of ferns, pothos, and other foliage to create a rich, textured look that acts as a natural piece of art.
Here's the same balcony green wall from a different angle, showing how it transforms the view and brings nature right up to the home. The integrated irrigation system makes maintenance simple.
This video showcases a complete terrace transformation. I used a combination of large potted plants, including bamboo and palms in modern planters, to create a lush, green rooftop escape with a clean, contemporary design.
A vertical garden can be designed to fit any space. Here, I've installed a green wall next to a sliding glass door, bringing a vibrant wall of life to the entrance of the balcony.
You can create beautiful patterns with vertical gardens. This installation uses rows of different colored plants, including purple Rhoeo and green Asparagus Fern, to create a striking visual effect on a large exterior wall.
A closer look at the texture and variety in a green wall. I combine plants with different leaf shapes and shades, like the variegated Spider Plant, to ensure the wall is visually interesting and thrives.
This photo shows my team during the installation of a large-scale vertical garden. You can see the modular panels being filled with individual plants before being mounted, a process that allows for creative and custom designs.
About this collection
A great vertical garden is about more than just stacking plants. We install custom drip irrigation lines connected to your nearest water point, so your plants stay watered without you needing to do a thing. We use cocopeat-based mixes to keep the wall lightweight and specific UV-stabilized panels to ensure the structure holds up through our heat.
How We Build Your Green Wall
We don't believe in temporary solutions. When we install a vertical garden, we start with a solid MS (Mild Steel) or Aluminum frame anchored to your wall. This is the skeleton of your green space. We then attach UV-stabilized, modular plastic panels that are designed to handle outdoor exposure without cracking or leaching.
The Plants That Work
We select plants based on how they actually behave on a wall. You won't find us suggesting high-drama plants that die within a month. We typically use hardy, textured varieties like Rhoeo, Syngonium, Ferns, and Spider Plants. These species fill out well, cover the pots completely, and create that '50 shades of green' look while tolerating the specific micro-climate of a wall installation.
Irrigation & Maintenance
Vertical gardens need moisture, but they don't need to be soaking wet. Our drip irrigation system is fed by micro-tubes that go into every individual pot, ensuring even distribution. If you are worried about the upkeep, we also offer scheduled maintenance visits to prune, check the irrigation lines, and keep the foliage dense and healthy. Whether it's a small patch on your balcony or a full feature wall for your office, we build it so it lasts.
Akar Eco Greens
We’re the team behind Akar Eco Greens. We don't just put up plants; we look at a wall and see a garden waiting to happen. We spend our days at our nursery in Sector 22, Gurugram, figuring out which ferns and pothos actually thrive in our climate so you don't end up with a wall that withers.
