About Muhurtham & Traditional Bridal Sets
Every Muhurtham set I offer is a complete 7-piece ensemble, covering everything from your headpiece down to the waist belt. Since these are antique matte finish pieces, they provide that authentic, regal look for the ceremony without the weight or maintenance of real gold. I include extra back ropes and earring locks with every rental, so you do not have to scramble for last-minute adjustments on your big day.
When you pick a Muhurtham set, you are not just getting a necklace; you are getting a full bridal trousseau. My kits are designed for the traditional South Indian bride and include a 24 to 28-inch heavy Long Haram, a matching choker, heavy Jhumkas with ear chains, an adjustable waist belt (oddiyanam), armlets, and full head accessories like the Matha Patti or Jada Billai.
The beauty of renting is the flexibility. If a specific piece from another collection catches your eye, I encourage you to mix and match. You are not locked into a pre-set catalogue. Whether you want a heavy Lakshmi motif haram or a classic peacock design, we can assemble a look that complements your Muhurtham saree perfectly.
Everything is crafted with a copper alloy base and premium matte gold plating to mimic real temple and Kempu jewellery. Before any set goes out, it is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized, then packed with extra safety pins, back ropes, and earring stoppers to ensure you are covered for the ceremony. These sets are available for a 3-day rental period, giving you enough time for the function and the photoshoots that follow.
