When I plan a trip to the coast, the focus is on escaping the city grind. We start our journey on Friday night from Bangalore, so you wake up to the sound of waves instead of horns. My coastal itineraries combine the classic beach vibe of Gokarna with the calmer, serene backwaters of Honnavara.
We do not just stick to the main beaches. I organize treks that cover the trails connecting the beaches, taking you through spots like Om Beach and Kudle.
