Bold, surreal, and entirely freehand. My monochrome murals use deep ink and detailed line work to turn empty walls into stories.

The completed wolf mural, a powerful black and white piece for a private residence in Bangalore. The goal was to create a symbol of intuition and resilience that complemented the home's refined interior design.

A closer look at the freehand process for the wolf mural. Here, I'm carefully adding details to the wolf's face, building up the texture of the fur with fine brushstrokes to bring it to life.

This clip focuses on the creation of the moon and the twisted, abstract trees in the wolf mural. I use a mix of ink washes and sharp lines to create depth and a sense of a mystical, nocturnal landscape.

This mural of abstract mountains and swirling clouds was painted on wood-paneled walls at a cafe in Shangarh. Working in the Himalayas, I wanted to capture the feeling of the landscape in my signature monochrome line-art style.

Here I am working on a large, complex mural in Gokarna. This piece shows how I integrate different elements like eyes, brains, and natural patterns into a single, cohesive abstract composition, all drawn freehand.

A time-lapse of the Gokarna mural, showing the evolution from a blank wall to a complex piece of art. It captures the flow of ideas as I connect different symbolic elements with intricate, weaving lines.

This video shows the process of creating a flowing, abstract mural composed of organic, root-like shapes. I work without stencils, letting the design evolve directly on the wall with each brushstroke.

Working on a ladder to complete a large monochrome mural in Gokarna. This piece features a winged, abstract creature, and the video shows the physical process of creating art on a large scale.

A close-up on another abstract, monochrome piece, focusing on the surreal figure with an eye for a head. My work often explores the fusion of human forms with plants and abstract patterns.

This clip shows the very first lines of a freehand mural. I begin by lightly sketching the main shapes on the wall before committing to the final ink lines, establishing the flow of the composition.

About Intricate Ink & Monochrome Murals

My monochrome murals are not about precision through stencils; they are about flow. I work entirely freehand, mapping out the composition directly on your wall with ink. Whether it is a detailed wolf portrait or abstract swirling patterns, the final look depends on the texture of your wall and the specific way the ink interacts with the surface. It is a slow, rhythmic process that transforms a plain wall into a living story.
