Featured Surreal Ink Art and Custom Designs

A collection of my most personal pieces where myth, nature, and surrealism meet on paper.

This is Fenrus, a mythic wolf piece that holds a lot of personal meaning. I focused on capturing its fierce energy through detailed line work, from the texture of the fur to the wildness in its eyes. This is the kind of symbolic animal art I love to create.

Watch a sunflower come to life, petal by petal. This piece was a commission where I blended vibrant color with my signature black and white ink patterns. The process is slow and meditative, building layers of detail until the final form emerges.

This piece, "Trikaal," explores the passage of time through the figures of childhood, youth, and old age. It's a large, complex drawing that shows how I weave together symbols of life, death, and nature into a single narrative.

Here is a look at how a complex tattoo design featuring a giraffe, leopard, and other creatures comes together. I build these pieces to flow with the body, creating a unique story for the wearer that is packed with natural and surreal elements.

A finished piece exploring the classic theme of life and death. I often draw feminine forms alongside skulls and natural elements like mushrooms and roots, seeing them as part of the same cycle of growth, decay, and rebirth.

Adding touches of color to this contemplative piece. The watercolor helps set the mood, contrasting with the precise ink lines. This shows how a little color can completely change the emotional feel of an illustration.

From a simple pencil sketch to a fully realized surreal being. This video shows the patient process of layering ink to create depth and texture, transforming a blank page into a complex, otherworldly figure.

About this collection

Every piece here starts as a rough pencil sketch before I layer in thousands of tiny ink strokes. I use professional-grade Micron pens on archival-quality paper because I want these lines to last, whether you are framing them or using them as a guide for your next tattoo.

This gallery is a deep dive into the themes I find myself returning to again and again—the cycle of life and death, the quiet wildness of wolves and mushrooms, and the symbolic patterns that weave through it all. When I work on these illustrations, I don't rush. The stippling and cross-hatching you see in pieces like 'Trikaal' take hours of patience because I want to capture that specific balance of reality and dream.

Everything you see here is drawn by hand. If you like the look of my ink illustrations, you can commission a custom concept. Whether you want a surreal tattoo design, a print for your wall, or a piece that tells your specific story, we start with a conversation. I will sketch out the idea, send it over, and then move to ink. For those looking to frame my work, I use 250 to 300 GSM archival paper, which is acid-free and made to stand the test of time.

Please keep in mind that my original artworks are one-of-a-kind. When you purchase an original, you get the actual piece I drew, sealed with a fixative spray to prevent smudging. If you are here looking for a tattoo design, I provide both the final high-resolution master file and a clean stencil guide that your local tattoo artist can use to transfer the design to your skin. Everything is packed securely to ensure it reaches you in the same condition it left my studio in Bareilly.

I am Ankita. I live in Bareilly and spend most of my time lost in ink, nature, and symbols. I do not really do trends; I just draw what feels real—tangled roots, mythic figures, and all the messy patterns that connect us.
