Surreal Creatures and Mythic Ink Illustrations
I draw creatures from the shadows of nature—wolves, moths, and mythic hybrids—tangled with roots and skulls. My art explores the space between the real and the unreal.
The process of drawing a realistic iguana, from the first sketch to the final detailed scales and background of tangled vines. This piece is available as a high-quality art print.
A mythical rabbit-like creature, with mushrooms growing from its head and roots trailing from its feet. I love creating these fantasy animals that feel like they belong to an ancient, magical forest.
A hybrid creature that is part snake, part dragon, and part bird. This piece was designed as a tattoo and shows how I combine elements from different animals to create something new and mythic.
The initial pencil sketch for my "Fenrus" wolf piece. Here you can see the raw energy and composition before the final ink details are added.
A ram skull overgrown with mushrooms and tentacles. This drawing explores the theme of nature reclaiming life after death, a common motif in my work.
A close-up of a screaming octopus-like monster. I focused on the texture of the tentacles and the raw emotion in the face, creating a powerful and unsettling creature from the deep.
A surreal moth with a skull for a body and intricate patterns on its wings. This piece is a good example of how I blend insect forms with symbols of death.
About this collection
Every creature I draw begins as a messy pencil sketch before the ink settles in. When you commission a piece, I share progress shots so you can see the wolf, moth, or hybrid take shape on the page. Whether you want an original for your wall or a concept for your next tattoo, we build the final illustration together, layer by layer.
My work with natural creatures is about the tangle of life and death. I use skulls, mushrooms, and vines to ground my subjects because I see the world as a cycle that never stops. My style is dense with stippling and cross-hatching, often taking 5 to 15 hours for a single piece.
If you are looking at these for a tattoo, I provide a clean line-work stencil guide along with the final concept. This ensures your tattoo artist receives exactly the flow and structure we discussed, without the distraction of my heavy shading.
For physical pieces, I use high-quality archival paper. Whether it is a standard A4 illustration or a premium A3 stippled drawing, I use fixative sprays to ensure the ink stays crisp. Everything I ship from my studio in Bareilly is wrapped in acid-free paper and protected in rigid tubes so it arrives in the same condition it left my desk.
If you have a creature or a mythic idea that won't stop running through your head, send me a message with your story and we can start sketching.
