Chronic pain is often a signal that your body's doshas are out of balance. Whether it is a slip disc, arthritis, or spondylosis, I focus on identifying the root cause, not just masking symptoms, to guide you back to lasting relief.

This is a duplicate of ID 18, illustrating the area affected by a slip disc. My Ayurvedic treatment offers a drug-free and non-surgical path to recovery. Therapies like Kati Basti and herbs like Dashamool ease inflammation and nourish the spinal structures to support natural healing.

Spondylosis, or persistent neck and spine pain, is a Vata disorder affecting the bone tissue ('asthi dhatu'). My treatment involves therapies like Greeva Basti (warm oil on the neck) and medicated oils to reduce stiffness. Herbal supplements help restore flexibility and improve spinal health naturally.

For arthritis, my Ayurvedic treatment addresses the root cause: aggravated Vata dosha. I use anti-inflammatory herbs like Guggulu and Turmeric, along with therapies like oil massage (Abhyanga) and steam (Swedana). This approach helps reduce swelling, improve joint movement, and provides sustainable relief without side effects.

Rheumatoid Arthritis is an autoimmune condition that I treat by focusing on detoxification and pacifying Vata and 'ama' (toxins). Panchakarma therapies like Virechana (purgation) and medicated oil massages help reduce inflammation and rebuild strength in the joints over time.

For PCOD, my Ayurvedic treatment aims to restore hormonal balance by addressing the root cause, which is often a Kapha imbalance and impaired digestion ('agni'). I use detoxification therapies and herbal combinations like Shatavari and Ashokarishta to cleanse the reproductive system and regulate periods naturally.

About this collection

When you visit my clinic in Mahim, we do not jump straight into a massage. We start with Nadi Pariksha, a precise pulse diagnosis that tells me exactly which dosha—Vata, Pitta, or Kapha—is causing your pain. Whether it is a slip disc or persistent joint stiffness, I tailor the treatment protocol, choosing between therapies like Kati Basti for deep tissue inflammation or Virechana for detoxification, so you get relief that actually lasts.

Healing from chronic pain requires more than just masking discomfort. In my practice, I look at the 'asthi dhatu' (bone tissue) and the state of your 'agni' (digestive fire) to understand why your Vata dosha has gone out of balance. Most of my clients arrive having tried countless painkillers. My first step is understanding your unique Prakriti to ensure the plan I prescribe for you is effective.

How We Approach Pain Management

  • For Slip Disc & Spondylosis: We use therapies like Kati Basti and Greeva Basti. We create a reservoir of warm, medicated oils like Sahacharadi or Mahanarayan tailam on the affected area. This heat penetrates deep into the tissues, softening stiffness and reducing nerve compression.
  • For Arthritis: The focus is on removing 'ama' (toxins). Therapies like Abhyanga (therapeutic massage) and Bashpa Swedana (steam) help liquefy these toxins, allowing the body to flush them out naturally and reducing joint inflammation.
  • For PCOD: This is often an imbalance of Kapha and Agni. We move away from hormonal medication toward detoxification and specific herbs like Shatavari to restore your internal rhythm.

Your Path to Recovery

Ayurveda is not an overnight fix; it is a commitment. You will need to follow a path of dietary changes (Pathya) and lifestyle adjustments (Dinacharya) alongside the therapies. This is how we ensure that your relief is not temporary, but a restoration of your body's inherent ability to heal itself. I will guide you through every step of this journey.
