I bring the artistic process directly to your audience, turning a blank canvas into an expressive portrait in real-time. My work relies on the tactile energy of impasto, using thick paint to capture the spirit of the subject and the atmosphere of the room.

This acrylic on canvas portrait of a child from the Gujjar tribe in Kashmir was created during a National Art Workshop. My work often seeks to capture the poignant stories and resilient spirit of individuals from diverse Indian communities, using thick, expressive paint to convey emotion.

Watch the entire process of a live oil portrait unfold, from the first strokes on a blank canvas to the final reveal at Rendition Art Gallery. This video shows how I build layers and texture with brushes and palette knives to capture the model's character in a rapid, dynamic session.

Created during a live demonstration for art students, this oil portrait of a man in a vibrant red turban showcases my impasto technique. The focus is on capturing the subject's presence and expression through bold color and textured brushwork.

Here I am conducting a live demonstration for a large audience of students at Abhinav Kala Mahavidyalaya in Pune. These educational sessions are about sharing the unfiltered process of creating art, from technical challenges to moments of inspiration.

A close-up detail of my impasto technique. I use thick applications of oil paint to create a tangible surface, where light and shadow play across the texture. This method allows me to convey warmth and emotion in a way that feels almost sculptural.

Titled "HOPE II," this piece was painted live during a monsoon art camp. It moves beyond a simple portrait to tell a story, reflecting on childhood and resilience. The setting and atmosphere of a live event always find their way into the final artwork.

I was honored to present this soft pastel portrait to Padma Shri awardee Mr. Vasudeo Kamath at the annual art exhibition of my alma mater, Sir J.J. School of Art. Live portraits can serve as unique, personal tributes for special guests and events.

A live demonstration in the intimate setting of the Kamalnayan Bajaj Art Gallery. These sessions are a shared experience, where the audience can witness the artwork evolve and engage with the creative process up close.

About Featured

If you are planning an event, please note that for live portrait sessions I require a dedicated 8x8 ft space and specific focused lighting. This setup is essential to ensure the depth of the impasto technique—the thick, sculptural application of paint—is visible to your guests as the piece evolves.
