About Keychains & Bag Tags: Your Memories to Go
Sending me your items to preserve is straightforward. Whether it is a few petals from your wedding varmala or a flower from a special trip, I need them in good condition to start the process. Once you ship your items to my studio in Janakpuri, I carefully prep, dry, and cast them in high-gloss resin. It usually takes about 20 days to ensure everything is perfectly cured and bubble-free before it ships back to you.
How We Make Your Memories Stick
Resin art is not just a quick pour. It requires patience and a fair bit of science. When you send me your flowers, the first step is silica drying. This process takes 3 to 7 days depending on the humidity and flower type, as we need to remove all moisture to prevent the petals from turning brown or rotting inside the resin.
Customization Options
Once the preservation is done, we get to the fun part. You can choose from:
- Vinyl Names & Dates: Perfect for marking a housewarming or anniversary. The text is encapsulated inside the resin, so it will never peel off.
- Spotify Codes: A popular choice for couples. I can include a scannable Spotify code for "your song" right on the keychain.
- Puzzle Pieces: My personal favorite for couples. Two interlocking pieces that fit together, symbolizing connection.
- Hardware: I use high-quality gold-toned metal keyrings and lobster clasps for bag tags, ensuring they are durable enough for daily use on keys, purses, or laptop bags.
Practical Details
Because everything is handmade, there might be tiny air bubbles or slight variations in color, which is natural. I always aim for high transparency so the embedded flowers look fresh and vibrant, not cloudy.
