About The Tuxedo Edit: For Receptions & Black-Tie Events
Getting the fit right on a tuxedo isn't just about body measurements; it's about the shoulder structure and how the lapel holds its shape when you move. When we design your reception look, I focus heavily on the internal canvas—the hidden padding—to ensure your jacket stays crisp and structured all night, whether you're hitting the dance floor or making a grand entrance.
A great tuxedo is a game of details. In my studio, we don't just sew fabric; we construct a vibe. For the reception and black-tie edit, I primarily work with micro-velvet in deep, evening-ready shades like midnight blue, wine, and bottle green. Because velvet is a heavier fabric, the construction has to be precise. I use high-density canvas chest pieces to balance the weight of the zardosi and cut-dana handwork on the shoulders and lapels.
My Process
- Consultation: We start by chatting about your event. Are you the groom, or are you attending a gala? The vibe dictates the level of embroidery.
- Measurement: If you're in Delhi, drop by my Lajpat Nagar studio. If you're out of town, we handle everything via video call measurements.
- The Build: We create a raw trial piece (skeleton fit) to fix your posture, sleeve length, and waist suppression before cutting into the final fabric.
What You Get
These sets include the jacket, trousers, pintuck tuxedo shirt, and a matching embellished bow tie. Pricing for this level of hand-embroidered work ranges from ₹26,000 to ₹36,000. If you need something simpler, I also craft sleek, matte poly-wool tuxedos without the heavy embroidery, starting at ₹13,500.
Remember, your tuxedo should be the part of the celebration you remember most. Whether it's a subtle touch like white piping or a full-on beaded statement, let's create something that makes you say 'na na karke haan kar di' when you finally look in the mirror.
Zenmen
I’m the face behind Zenmen, and I honestly believe power is worn, not spoken. I don't just stitch fabric; I craft your 'na na karke haan kar di' moment. If you want to own the room without trying too hard, let’s talk about your vision.
