About The Fun & Festivities (Haldi & Sangeet)
I don’t believe in directing you to pose during the Haldi or Sangeet. Instead, my team and I blend into the crowd, looking for those unscripted moments—the nervous smile before your dance performance, the surprise prank during the Haldi, or the quiet exchange between friends that you would otherwise miss. These are the candid shots that capture the actual vibe of your festivities.
The Haldi and Sangeet ceremonies are rarely about perfection. They are about the pulse of the celebration. My approach is to capture the momentum of these events without turning them into a rigid photoshoot.
We bring a 4 to 5 person team to ensure we have eyes on both the stage performances and the reactions in the crowd. For Sangeet, we use gimbals to keep up with fast-paced dance moves. For Haldi, we prioritize waterproof and lightweight gear so we can get right into the action without worrying about the turmeric splashes. My goal is to capture the scale of the performance and the intimacy of the gathering.
Whether you are planning a high-energy Sangeet in a Delhi banquet hall or an intimate backyard Haldi, the principles remain the same: keep it light. We handle the traditional group portraits you need for the family album, but the bulk of our work is candid, focusing on the laughing, dancing, and the real stuff that makes for a great wedding film.
