About Grand Ceremonies & Celebrations
When I shoot grand ceremonies, I focus on the choreography—how the bride enters the stage, the timing of the smoke machines, and the exact moment the groom's expression shifts. I work with a 4-5 person crew specifically to ensure that while I am focused on your candid reactions, another camera is documenting the scale of the decor and the crowd's energy, so you never miss the cinematic grandeur of the event.
How I Film Your Grand Day
Every grand ceremony is essentially a live production. Whether it is a Ring Ceremony with a thousand guests or an intimate Varmala exchange, my approach remains the same: I need to be where the action is without being in the way. My team and I use a mix of wide-angle shots to capture the full scope of your stage decor and tight, 4K telephoto lenses to get the expressions that matter most.
The Gear That Makes It Work
To get those dynamic shots you see in my gallery, we do not just rely on one camera. We bring a dedicated lighting assistant with softboxes to ensure that even in low-light banquet halls, your faces are clear and the details of your attire pop. For the grand entries, we use gimbals for smooth, sweeping cinematic motion, and when the venue allows, I deploy drone coverage to give you an aerial perspective of the entire celebration.
Documenting the Rituals
I understand that ceremonies like the Varmala, Pheras, or Ring exchange carry weight. I do not just record them; I film them to tell a story. I look for the unscripted moments—the nervous laugh before the ring slides on, the tear in a parent's eye during the exchange of garlands, or the way the crowd reacts when the smoke machines go off. My goal is to capture the 'yaadein' (memories) that you will want to relive in high definition years from now. If you are planning a grand event in Delhi NCR or a destination wedding elsewhere, let us discuss how to map out your ceremony coverage so we don't miss a single beat.
