If you are a nail biter, the hardest part is the first step. I use a dry Russian Manicure technique that avoids water-based soaking, which keeps your natural nail bed healthy and ready for growth. We start with short, custom-fit extensions that cover the nail plate, giving you an immediate confidence boost while stopping the urge to bite.

The Process
We begin with a clean, dry e-file manicure. This removes cuticle buildup without water, ensuring the extension adheres perfectly to the nail plate, even if it is very short. For bitten nails, I often recommend Soft Gel (Gel-X) because it is lightweight and flexible, or Polygel for a slightly stronger, buildable structure.
Why It Works
Extensions act as a physical barrier. When your natural nails are covered by a durable, professionally applied set, you cannot bite them. Over time, your natural nail bed begins to grow and recover underneath the extension. I typically suggest a maintenance refill every three to four weeks to keep everything tidy and prevent lifting.
