As a baraat anchor, my goal is to make the procession the most energetic part of the day. I get in the crowd, dance with the baraatis, and make sure everyone is hyped up and celebrating.
For me, being an interactive wedding emcee means getting off the stage and onto the dance floor. I love dancing with the guests, making sure everyone feels included and the party never stops.

When you hire me for your sangeet or baraat, I am not just reading from a script. I am on the floor with the baraatis, mic in hand, syncing with your DJ to keep the momentum going. I focus on managing the transition between family performances so there is no dead air, just continuous flow and engagement.
My hosting style is built on Hinglish and intuition rather than rigid scripts. I know that for a sangeet, the focus is on the performances, so my job is to act as the bridge between acts. I handle the intros and outros for family dances, manage the pacing to keep the energy high, and step in with improvised banter if there is a delay for costume changes.
For the baraat, I am your hype person. I move with the procession, coordinate with the dhol or DJ truck, and keep the crowd dancing. It is about reading the room, so if the energy dips, I am there to lift it.
Before the event, we do a thorough sound check for mic clarity. During the event, I use subtle hand signals with the console team for music cues and lighting drops. My goal is to ensure the couple and the family can focus on celebrating while I handle the logistics of the flow.
