Behind the Lens: My Approach to Storytelling

When you step in front of my lens, there is no pressure to pose. My process is about making you comfortable so your natural self shows up. I typically work with a light assistant for smaller shoots or a full team for larger events, using portable, low-profile lighting setups. This ensures the environment remains fluid and authentic, keeping the focus entirely on the connection between you and your partner.

How I Work

My photography is not about staged perfection. Whether we are in the historic lanes of South Mumbai or at a destination venue in Rishikesh, my goal is to remain invisible. I rely on full-frame cameras and prime lenses, which allow me to move quickly and capture candid reactions without interrupting the flow of the event.

The Collaborative Process

Before any shoot, we spend time discussing your comfort zone. If you feel awkward in front of a camera, we start with movement—walking, talking, or simply interacting with the landscape. This helps you forget the lens is even there. We work with natural light wherever possible, only using portable gear to enhance shadows and depth when the scene calls for it.

My Team

While I am a solo storyteller at heart, for full-day weddings and cinematic film projects, I bring a small, tight-knit crew. This includes a dedicated cinematographer and a light assistant who knows how to support the vibe without becoming a distraction. We function as a support system to your day, not a production crew that dictates it. If you have a specific vision for your pre-wedding or wedding film, we can plan the shot list together, but the best moments are always the ones that happen naturally.
