There is something about the coast that strips away the pretenses of a typical studio shoot. When we head out to locations like the Konkan coast or Diveagar, the goal is not to force a pose, but to find a rhythm. • Timing: We shoot sunrise or sunset. The light is harsh in the middle of the day, which creates unflattering shadows. We want that soft, golden warmth.
• Attire: Think about comfort. Flowy dresses for her and linen or light cotton for him work best. Avoid heavy, structured formal wear that creates friction when walking on the sand.
• Movement: Be prepared to get your feet wet. The best shots often happen when you stop worrying about your outfit and start interacting with the surroundings.
