Peek behind the easel to see how I capture your big day. From studio finishing touches to the joy of guests watching art come to life, here is how I turn weddings into permanent memories.

A fun reel showing guest reactions and the final painting from a wedding with Pritam performing. It’s moments like these that make live painting so memorable.

This reel shows me at work, interacting with guests, and the final painting displayed on the easel. It’s a quick look at the entire live painting experience.

A little "then and now" fun. It's amazing to look back at my journey and see how far I've come as an artist, from early aspirations to painting for incredible clients.

About this collection

Most people only see the final painting, but the real work happens amidst the wedding chaos. Whether I am dodging fire sparklers or managing stage lights at an outdoor venue, I set up my workspace to be completely self-contained. I bring my own easel, drop cloths, and battery-powered lighting so I never interrupt your venue flow, ensuring the only thing I add to your celebration is a bit of artistic entertainment.

People often ask how I manage to paint while a wedding is in full swing. It is about blending into the background while being accessible enough for guests to watch. I treat my setup as a mini-studio. I use professional acrylics because they dry quickly, which is essential when painting live with people walking by. I have painted everywhere from rustic resorts to grand ballrooms at the Taj Palace and ITC Maurya. Each environment requires a different approach. Outdoor events need extra stability for the easel, while ballroom weddings require careful placement so I do not block the photographer's view.

The 'Behind the Scenes' is not just about my process, it is about the connection. Guests love watching the brushstrokes appear. It turns into an immediate conversation starter. I have lost count of how many times someone has stopped by to ask, 'Did you make this?' while I am mixing colors.

I have been painting for 10 years, and it has not always been polished canvas work. Looking back at my early days versus the intricate detailing I do now, like capturing the specific embroidery on a bride’s lehenga or the texture of a groom’s sherwani, it has been a journey. Whether I am working from a reference photo in my Noida studio or painting live on-site, the goal remains the same: transforming your fleeting wedding moments into a permanent memory.

I am Aashi, and for me, painting is simply my peace. After 10 years and over 250 weddings, I have learned that the best art comes when I am completely immersed in the emotion of your day. Whether I am painting live or in my studio, I am just trying to freeze that one moment that matters most to you.
