About My Creative Process
I don't just ask for a photo and send you a file. We start with a rough sketch to ensure the vibe is right, and I include two rounds of revisions in every project. Whether you want a detailed caricature or a minimalist faceless portrait, I make sure details like outfit patterns and jewelry are exactly how you remember them before finalizing the artwork.
My design journey usually begins with a clear photo you send over. Because I trained as an architect, I approach every digital illustration with a focus on scale and precision, even when the style is playful.
The Workflow
Once we agree on the concept, I create a preliminary line art sketch. This is the stage where we catch any corrections, like adjusting a pose or adding a specific accessory. After you approve the layout, I move into color blocking and detailing. If you chose a minimalist faceless style, I focus heavily on the silhouette and clothing textures to keep it clean and artistic. For detailed caricatures, I work on facial features and expressions until they feel just right.
Why it takes time
High-quality digital art needs patience. I usually need 3 to 5 business days to deliver your file. This window covers the sketching, the revisions, and the high-resolution export in 300 DPI, which makes the file print-ready for anything from small wooden keepsakes to large welcome boards.
Whether you are planning a surprise gift for your partner or want a custom wedding invite, I treat every project with the same love I show when making a crochet gajra for my Aaji. If you have a specific idea or a complicated reference photo, just send it across and we can figure out the best style to match your vision.
