If you are planning a room surprise, remember that ceiling balloons and fairy lights need a clean, dry surface to stick properly. For our rooftop cabanas in Manori, we include everything from dry ice fog to cold pyro shots, but keep in mind that those are outdoor slots that rely on good weather conditions. Whether it is a cozy room transformation or a private terrace dinner, just tell me your vibe and I will make the space look perfect.
I started Chintamani Events in Mumbai because I love the energy of a good celebration. For anniversaries and couple surprises, I don't believe in one-size-fits-all. Some couples want a simple, sweet room filled with heart-shaped balloons and warm fairy lights, while others want a full-blown rooftop experience with cold pyro effects and a cabana setup.
How We Set the Mood
- The Balloon Ceiling: This is my signature for room surprises. I use high-quality balloons that stick securely so they fill the space without falling. It creates an instant 'wow' factor.
- Rooftop Cabanas: At our 'Celebration Point' in Manori, we set up teepee-style tents with sheer drapes and romantic lighting. It is perfect if you want to escape the city noise.
- Custom Signage: I always add personal touches like 'Happy Anniversary' neon signs or light-up initials to make your photos pop. These are great for social media snaps.
Practical Details
- Timing: For room decor, I usually need 45 to 60 minutes to set up. If you are surprising your partner, plan for that window when they are out of the house.
- Material: I use standard latex and metallic balloons for our rings and garlands. If you want a more premium look, I recommend our Shimmer Wall packages, which use high-density sequin panels that catch the light beautifully.
- Weather: For the rooftop cabana packages, please check the weather forecast. We can't set up the pyro and dry ice if it is raining, so it is better to have a Plan B at home just in case.
