How I Think About Hospitality Spaces

For me, a hotel or restaurant is not just a place to eat or sleep. It’s where memories get made. I’m always chasing that vibe where luxury feels effortless - not just fancy looks, but a feeling that just hits right. Comfort, inspiration, some peace - that’s the goal.

My Way of Designing

• I don’t just do the surface stuff. I handle everything: blueprints, structure, interiors, down to the lighting. One-window, no faff.
• Obsessive about details. I really care about how light moves, how spaces flow. I want people to feel good, not just impressed.
• I mix old-school with modern - so you get that timeless feel, but it never feels out of date or too try-hard.

What I’ve Worked On

• Restaurants: I’ve done spaces that are all about modern restaurant ambiance, but also places that feel classic and plush. Sometimes both in one.
• Banquet Halls: I love going all out here - arches, those heritage jharokhas, chandeliers that actually make you stop and stare.
• Hotels: For me, it’s about the journey. Every corner should feel like it belongs, but still surprise you. I lean into experiential luxury hospitality when I plan out the flow.

Roots and the Bigger Picture

I pull a lot from Indian heritage-inspired interiors - Rajasthani arches, Islamic patterns, but always with a twist so it doesn’t feel like a museum. I care about the planet too - sustainable hotel design is not just a buzzword for me. I bring in local artisans and crafts where I can, so the space has some soul and isn’t just copy-paste global.
