About Blonde & Golden Highlights
Many people worry that lightening hair means losing quality. I mix a bonding agent, like Smartbond, directly into the lightener to protect your hair during the process. It keeps your hair soft so you get the blonde look without the damage, even when we go for a high-contrast style.
When you want to go blonde, the fear is always damage. That is why I work primarily with L'Oréal Professional products. Whether we choose French Balayage for that hand-painted, natural transition or Foilayage if you want maximum brightness, the technique changes to suit your hair length and texture.
My Approach to Going Lighter
- Babylights: These are my go-to for a subtle, youthful change. I use micro-weaves to create a delicate, sun-kissed effect that mimics how the sun naturally lightens hair.
- Foilayage: If you want a more defined, glamorous look, I use foils to lift the color more significantly. This is great if you have dark hair and want a high-contrast blonde or golden result.
- Toning & Glossing: This is the secret step. After the lightener, I always finish with a global glossing session. This neutralizes any brassy, orange tones and seals the cuticle, giving you that rich Ash, Mocha, or Golden finish.
I work out of Geetanjali Salon in Sector 15 and Galleria Market. When you come in, we will look at your hair health first. If your hair needs it, I can also suggest no-bleach options or a bonding treatment to keep it strong. Maintenance is easy with the right products, and I will show you how to wash and style your hair so the color stays vibrant for months.
