Unique Mumbai-Inspired Art & Hand-Painted Merchandise
My art isn't just for walls. I bring Mumbai’s nostalgia and everyday stories to life on comfy tees and sturdy totes—made to be worn, used, and loved.
Watch as I bring the spirit of Mumbai to life on a sturdy tote bag. Each element, from the kaali-peeli taxi to the local train, is hand-painted with durable acrylics, making every bag a unique piece of wearable art that carries a story.
This video shows my process for creating a hand-painted t-shirt on soft, sustainable cotton. The design, 'Hope for Tomorrow', features a few of my favorite things: a happy dog, good food, and moments of self-care, all brought to life with fabric paint.
Here is my 'A Moment of Rest' illustration on a comfy, high-quality printed t-shirt. It’s a wearable reminder to take a moment for yourself, surrounded by the calm of nature. This design is also available on tote bags.
This illustration captures the timeless charm of Jai Shri Krishna Dairy Farm, a 100-year-old lassi shop in Dadar. It's one of those iconic Mumbai places that holds so many memories, and I loved capturing its warm, inviting glow.
A watercolor sketch of my neighborhood's 40-year-old Wada Pav stall. This spot is so close to my heart, and this illustration is a tribute to the simple joys and delicious street food that define everyday life in Mumbai.
An acrylic on canvas portrait exploring the theme of self-care and quiet reflection. This piece shows my fine art style, focusing on expression and mood through color and composition, which often inspires my merchandise designs.
About Featured
When you choose a hand-painted piece, I spend 3-6 hours using water-resistant acrylics directly on canvas or cotton. I do not use mass-production methods here. This means the kaali-peeli taxi on your tote bag or the street-stall sketch on your tee is unique, as no two pieces are exactly identical.
I grew up sketching our city, including the 40-year-old Wada pav stalls, the local trains, and those quiet moments of self-care. It felt wrong to leave that art stuck in a sketchbook. That is why I started putting my illustrations on things you actually use every day.
Quality and Sustainability
My merchandise comes in two forms. For hand-painted items, I use heavy-duty 10-12oz cotton canvas for totes and premium organic cotton for custom tees. For my signature graphic prints, I partner with brands like One Less to ensure the cotton is soft, biodegradable, and ethically sourced. The prints are made using high-detail DTG (Direct-to-Garment) technology to ensure the colors of our city stay bright.
Care Instructions
Because these are painted with professional-grade fabric acrylics, they are durable. However, to keep the art looking fresh, I always recommend a gentle cold hand wash and ironing on the reverse side.
Custom Commissions
If you have a specific memory, maybe your childhood home or a favorite street corner, I can paint it for you. Custom work usually requires a 7-14 day turnaround to allow for the painting process and proper drying. Whether you want a single tee for yourself or a unique gift that feels like home, just drop me a message.
