Thematic and Costume Styling
Fashion isn't just about clothes, it's about building a whole world. Whether it's fantasycore, a Halloween vibe, or a creative concept shoot, let’s bring your imagination to life.
The Calavera Catrina look is all about the details. Here, the skeleton hands frame the face, adding to the spooky and artistic vibe. This kind of costume styling is perfect for making a huge impact at a theme party.
Another angle of the Calavera Catrina makeup. The look required detailed line work and contouring to create the skull effect, which I designed and executed as part of the overall styling.
In low light, the Calavera Catrina makeup takes on an even more haunting and dramatic quality. I love playing with lighting in photoshoots to enhance the mood of the styling.
For my Independence Day shoot, I used the flow and drape of different colored fabrics to represent the Indian flag. This shot captures the movement and spirit of the concept.
A dynamic shot from the tricolor-themed shoot, with the saffron-colored fabric flying high against the sky. This shows how styling can create powerful, symbolic imagery.
This is a moon-inspired makeup look I created. Using white and silver tones, I designed a celestial, glowing effect on the face and neck, showing that styling can be as simple and creative as makeup.
Welcome to my fantasycore world. This look is about creating a dreamy, magical vibe with styling, makeup, and a little bit of editing magic. If you want a photoshoot that looks like it's from a fantasy novel, this is the kind of world I can build for you.
About Thematic & Costume Styling
When we do a themed shoot, we don't just pick an outfit. I build a narrative with you. We’ll map out the aesthetic, hunt for props, and figure out the makeup to match. Think of it as world-building where you’re the lead character.
How We Build Your Concept
Every great shoot starts with a mood board. This is where we dump references, color palettes, and makeup inspiration to make sure we don't lose the plot halfway through. For fantasycore looks, I focus heavily on lighting, textures, and dreamy elements that make the photo pop. If we are going for something darker like a Calavera Catrina or gothic style, I bring in the technical side with creative face art and specific prop selection.
My Process
I treat every project like I am directing a scene from a movie. I work with what you already have in your closet, or we source unique pieces from vintage markets and student designer networks across Delhi NCR.
- Conceptual Planning: We define the vibe—is it moody, celestial, or purely vintage?
- Prop & Set Design: I source the props and arrange the set to match the aesthetic, so you don't have to scramble for items at the last minute.
- On-Set Execution: During the shoot, I handle the artistic direction. From steaming garments to adjusting your pleats and perfecting the makeup, I ensure everything looks polished so you can just focus on the posing.
Whether we are shooting in a hidden spot in Noida or a studio in South Delhi, I’m there to handle the details. You show up, and we make magic happen.
