We turn stories into adventures. Whether your child is an astronaut on a space mission or a superhero saving the day, our play-based activities build confidence and creativity in every little explorer.

With great power comes great learning. Our superheroes celebrated their exit point by participating in "super" science experiments and obstacle courses that tested their powers.

We took a stroll through the deep dark wood to meet The Gruffalo. Our story-based events begin with an immersive walk, setting the stage for the adventure to come.

After the story, the children sit down for themed activities. Here, they are getting ready for a Gruffalo-themed craft and snack session.

Making our own "terrible tusks" and "purple prickles". The children created their own Gruffalo crumble, an edible art activity that brought the story's details to life.

This sensory bin is set up to represent the snake's log-pile house from The Gruffalo. Children explore different textures while retelling parts of the story.

The highlight of our day was a surprise visit from the Gruffalo himself. The children were so excited to meet the creature from their favorite story.

Blast off to outer space. In this role-play activity, our little astronauts encountered a stranded alien and had to work together to help him fix his spaceship.

Our superhero fashion parade was a blast. Children dressed as their favorite heroes and danced their hearts out, showing off their powerful moves.

To the rescue. Our little heroes, with help from their parents, tackled an outdoor obstacle course as part of their superhero training exit point.

Exploring the wonders of weather. This exit point allowed children to experience different weather conditions, from making snowmen to painting shadows in the sun.

About Imaginative Worlds: Story & Role-Play

When we bring a story to life, like walking through the woods to meet The Gruffalo or repairing a spaceship after meeting an alien, we are not just playing. We are building communication and social confidence. You will notice our role-play sessions often conclude with an exit point, which is a creative finale where the children demonstrate what they have learned to their parents. It is not just about the costumes, it is about giving them a safe space to be brave, curious, and collaborative.
