Montessori & Life Skills Programs for Kids
We use hands-on activities like fireless cooking and sensory play to build your child's independence, fine motor skills, and confidence at our studio in Indore.
Tiny hands squeezing fresh orange juice, a perfect activity for strengthening hand muscles and learning about cause and effect.
Peeling an orange is a fantastic practical life skill that builds finger strength and coordination.
"Going bananas for fine motor fun." Children practice peeling and slicing, developing independence.
A little shopper at our pretend grocery store, learning about food and numbers through play.
Learning about dental hygiene by "brushing" giant teeth is a fun and memorable lesson.
Using our five senses to explore the world, here by smelling flowers and observing new objects.
Our little chefs in action during a fireless cooking session, boosting their confidence and fine motor skills.
Making sand clay handprints is a wonderful sensory activity and creates a beautiful keepsake.
A flower-themed sensory activity using different textures and materials to engage the sense of touch.
Children running a pretend flower shop, learning about colors, counting, and social interaction.
About Montessori & Life Skills
Our life skills sessions go beyond simple play; they are designed to build real-world dexterity. When you see our toddlers peeling oranges or assembling snacks, they are actively working on pincer grips and hand-eye coordination, the essential building blocks for writing, tying shoelaces, and managing buttons independently.
At Wonder Beans Gym, we follow a Montessori-inspired approach because we believe that when children do things for themselves, they learn faster and retain more. We focus on 'Practical Life' skills that might seem simple to adults but are milestones for growing minds.
Why Practice Matters
Most of our activities are designed to isolate specific movements. For example, our pretend supermarket and flower shop sessions aren't just about imagination. They require children to sort items, count money, and interact with peers, which sharpens logic and social skills simultaneously. By giving kids the space to cut fruits, brush 'giant teeth,' or pour ingredients, we help them develop the patience and concentration needed for more complex academic work later.
How We Learn
We prioritize messy, sensory-heavy experiences that engage multiple senses. Whether it is using sand clay for handprints, sorting items in our Montessori lab, or practicing fireless cooking, every station is set up to encourage curiosity. We keep groups small, ensuring each child gets the time to complete the task at their own pace without being rushed.
Skills We Build
- Fine Motor Strength: Peeling, slicing, and pasting build the finger muscles necessary for school-aged tasks.
- Independence: Performing everyday tasks builds a sense of 'I can do it' confidence.
- Cognitive Development: Sorting, classifying, and pretend play exercises logic and creative problem-solving.
Our goal is to create a safe space where children in Indore can explore their potential through doing, not just watching.
Wonder Beans Gym
Hi, I'm Neha. I started Wonder Beans to give kids a space where they aren't just memorizing books but actually doing things with their hands. Whether it’s playing shopkeeper to learn numbers or peeling fruit to build finger strength, I love watching them figure out how the world works.
