A Glossy Ibis in full flight, its iridescent feathers catching the light. This print showcases the beautiful teal and bronze colors that are often hidden when the bird is at rest.
A Rose-Ringed Parakeet comes in for a landing, wings spread, to join its mate at their nest. It’s a beautiful display of motion and interaction.
The beginning of the toss, where an Oriental Darter positions its freshly caught fish. This is a key moment in a fascinating feeding behavior I was patient to capture.

About Birds in Action
I use high shutter speeds and professional optics to freeze these birds mid-action, so you get every detail of the plumage and the splash. Since I do not stage my shoots, every print is a raw, real moment from the wild, preserved on archival-grade paper.
My approach to bird photography is simple: sit, wait, and capture. Whether it is a Pied Kingfisher diving or a Glossy Ibis in flight, I focus on the motion and the behaviors that are usually too fast to see. You get the raw energy of the moment, exactly as I saw it through my lens.
Quality and Specifications
Each print is a high-resolution, true-to-life reproduction of my work.
- Paper Quality: I use 240 GSM Premium Luster or 300+ GSM cotton rag paper. This ensures the fine details of the feathers and the bokeh of the background remain sharp and vivid.
- Framing: If you choose a framed piece, I use engineered wood with a 1.5-inch acid-free mount to separate the print from the glass. These arrive with pre-installed hardware, ready to hang on your wall.
- Authenticity: Every piece is hand-signed by me, marking it as a genuine, unstaged moment from my journeys across India.
I handle the packaging personally, using acid-free butter paper and heavy-duty, crush-resistant mailing tubes for prints to ensure your art arrives in perfect condition.
Jay
I spend hours in the wild waiting for the right moment. These prints are my way of bringing the energy of nature, like a mid-flight hunt, into your home.
