Original Kannada Dramas and Thrillers
Theatre is not just about memorizing lines—it is about reacting to the world around us. We stage original Kannada plays, from gritty social dramas to interactive thrillers, designed to leave you thinking long after the final curtain falls.

About Our Kannada Stage: Dramas & Thrillers
When you walk into a WeMove production, you won't find elaborate sets. We strip everything down to the essentials—props, lighting design, and raw acting—to ensure the story hits you directly. Whether it is the psychological tension of 'Kone Galige' or the suspense in our social thrillers, the focus is entirely on the performance.
Why We Stick to the One-Act Format
We are huge believers in the power of the ekanka (one-act play). By condensing the narrative, we force the story to be punchy and direct. It reflects the fast-paced nature of society today. You won't sit through long, dragging intermissions; instead, you get a concentrated burst of storytelling that demands your full attention from start to finish.
Our Stage Philosophy
We perform across iconic Bengaluru venues like Ranga Shankara. Our style is what you might call 'Black Box' minimalism. We don't hide behind massive backdrops. When you watch a play like Rakshasariddare Echharike, you are seeing actors rely on their craft, not special effects. The lighting is deliberate—often using shadow play and tight spots to create mood and focus—so every expression matters.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the language only Kannada? Most of our plays are in Kannada, reflecting our roots in the Bengaluru theatre scene, though some productions are bilingual or interactive, depending on the script.
What if I want to catch multiple shows? We offer an annual WePass membership. It covers 6 production entries within a year and is significantly cheaper than buying individual tickets for every show.
How does the audience interaction work? For plays like Who Killed Agatha?, you are not just a spectator. You help solve the investigation, interrogate suspects, and drive the story forward. We like to break the wall between the stage and the audience.
Where do you perform? We stage our plays across Bengaluru, with Ranga Shankara being a frequent home for our public performances.
