Spotlight 5+1 (Intermediate Course)
Schedule and Intensity
- Duration: 5 Weekends (10 sessions) plus a final performance day.
- Commitment: Higher rigor requiring homework and line memorization between sessions.
- Format: Mix of theory, physical conditioning, and rehearsal.
Advanced Training
- Script Analysis: Techniques to break down subtext and identify objectives.
- Characterization: Building backstories, internal monologues, and physical traits.
- Emotional Work: Exploration of Navarasa theories and vulnerability exercises.
Showcase
- Format: Structured play or scene collection performed for an audience.
- Support: Includes basic costume coordination, sound, and lighting support.

Big Step Intensive (Production Program)

- Duration: 16 Weekends (Approx. 3-4 months).
- Hours: 120+ hours including rehearsals and tech runs.
- Training: Covers acting, set design basics, backstage management, and lighting.
The Production
- Venue: Ticketed performance at a professional auditorium like Ranga Shankara or Alliance Francaise.
- Professional Standards: Access to professional set, costume, makeup, and lighting designers.
- Promotion: Includes poster design, social media marketing, and ticketing management.
Methodology
- Techniques: In-depth study of Stanislavski and Chekhov methods adapted for Indian context.
- Outcome: Graduates eligible for induction into WeMove repertory.
First Leaf (Kids 8-12 Years)
Workshop Details
- Eligibility: Strictly for ages 8-12 years.
- Schedule: 6 to 8 sessions (60-90 minutes per session).
- Venue: Child-safe studio environment with experienced facilitators.

- Skill Building: Exercises for public speaking, removing stage fright, and teamwork.

My Story
Namaskara! We’re WeMove Theatre. That one play I saw in 2008, it flipped a switch in me. Bengaluru rangabhoomi (theatre world) has places like K.H. Kalasoudha, now just a Hanumanthanagar ruin. That silence—hurts, but also pushes us. So we built a space where artists and stories matter. WeMove GPT isn’t tech, it’s Grooming Performers for Theatre. We’re all about sharing, growing, making theatre a collective journey. Stage is home, audience is family.
My Work
