About The Styling Journey: Behind the Scenes
People often think styling is just about picking a beautiful dress, but the real work happens in the fitting room. I usually schedule three to four dedicated fitting days where we focus entirely on the can-can volume, blouse necklines, and how the dupatta sits. It is in these small adjustments that a garment actually becomes a wedding-day look that you can move and dance in, rather than something that feels restrictive.
The reality of wedding styling is less about glamorous red carpets and more about the precision of a hemline or the exact placement of a brooch. When I take you through my styling journey, you see the actual labor involved in building a look that is uniquely yours. We start with vision mapping, taking those late-night Pinterest scrolls and turning them into actionable mood boards that consider your body type, the venue lighting, and the season.
Then comes the sourcing. I guide you through visits to top-tier designer boutiques and hidden gems alike, ensuring we are not just picking trending outfits, but pieces that reflect your personality. The most critical part of this journey is the fittings. This is where we adjust the can-can for that perfect twirl, modify blouse necklines for comfort, and ensure your jewelry layers correctly to match the neckline. Whether you are in Mumbai or coordinating virtually from abroad, my role is to remove the confusion and trial-and-error stress so you can actually enjoy the wedding.
