About Behind the Scenes: My Styling Process
Real styling is not just about picking a pretty outfit off the rack. It is about knowing which designers work for your body type, when to push for a wild card choice, and having an emergency kit ready to fix any fit issues on the spot. My job starts long before you walk down the aisle, ensuring that every layer, from your jewellery to your dupatta draping, is secure for hours of movement and photos.
Whether you are planning an intimate ceremony in Delhi or a grand destination wedding in the UAE, the path to your perfect look starts with a conversation. We begin by defining your style story—are you a modern traditionalist or someone who prefers an ethereal, minimalist aesthetic? I work with you to build a moodboard that balances your vision with practical realities like venue lighting and fabric weight.
My process covers the full scope of your bridal journey. We do not just shop; we build your look. We visit top-tier designer boutiques across the NCR, where I guide you through selections that flatter your frame rather than just fitting your budget. I encourage my brides to try silhouettes they might have dismissed; often, the most memorable looks are the ones you did not expect.
Once the outfit is selected, the real work begins with technical detailing. I handle the structural draping for heavy heritage fabrics, ensuring your lehenga or saree stays intact from the first ritual to the final bidaai. I come prepared with a full emergency kit—tape, pins, steaming tools—to manage last-minute adjustments. For grooms, the focus shifts to custom tailoring, coordination with the bride’s palette, and accessorizing with heritage pieces like safas and stoles. You are not just getting a stylist; you are getting a partner who ensures that by the time you step out, every detail is effortless, secure, and uniquely yours.
