We design vibrant, sun-drenched Mehendi and Haldi ceremonies that move beyond traditional decor to capture your personal story and the joy of the day.

For this poolside Haldi at Ananta Udaipur, we used vibrant pastel furniture and a colorful canopy to create a fresh, playful energy. It was a modern twist on a traditional ceremony, designed to be cool, funky, and unique.

A photobooth that is a floral fantasy. We created this seating spot enveloped in a symphony of colorful blooms, turning a simple couch into an elegant throne for beautiful pictures.

A dreamy pastel setup by the poolside for a Haldi ceremony. The soft hues of the decor, combined with the tranquil water and mountain view, created a serene and aesthetically pleasing haven.

We elevated this Bhaat ceremony with a vibrant mix of patterns, textures, and colors. Inspired by African tribal art, the setup used bold red and orange textiles, rustic pottery, and dried grasses for a culturally rich and visually stunning look.

This Haldi was a true fiesta. This video captures the vibrant colors, the Marwari-inspired decor, the dhol players, and the infectious energy of guests dancing and celebrating under the sun in Udaipur.

About Sun-Kissed Celebrations: Mehendi & Haldi

Working with daytime light requires a different approach than evening events. We often balance vibrant, patterned textiles with natural, airy canopy structures to ensure the setup looks crisp in bright sunlight, rather than washed out. We also plan the layout specifically to follow the movement of the sun, keeping your seating shaded and comfortable throughout the function.

Daytime events like Mehendi and Haldi are about energy, movement, and the play of light. While evening events allow us to manipulate the atmosphere with artificial lighting, daytime functions demand a design that interacts harmoniously with the environment. Whether we are at a property like The Ananta in Udaipur or a coastal venue, our process begins with mapping the sun’s path to place the seating and staging where it matters most.

We focus on 'lived-in' design. Instead of static backdrops that feel like a photo studio, we create zones that encourage interaction. This might mean incorporating Bhaat ceremony elements with rustic pottery and dried grasses for a culturally rich texture, or using tropical-themed stations that double as guest activities. Our approach to these events is intentional: we curate the colors to pop against natural greens and blues, ensuring that every corner feels like a natural extension of the venue’s landscape.

Because we handle the planning and logistics alongside the styling, we manage the 'madness' of daytime events behind the scenes. This includes coordinating dhol players, managing the flow of guest arrivals, and ensuring that any interactive elements—like doodle corners or flower stations—are fully stocked and operational. You simply step into the space we’ve built and celebrate.
