Squad Goals: Friends & Family Sangeet Choreography
A sangeet is truly incomplete without the squad hitting the floor. I design high-energy group routines for bridesmaids, groomsmen, and cousins that are fun, easy to learn, and perfect for your big day.
Some bridesmaid dance inspiration for your sangeet. This was a super fun group performance with coordinated outfits and high energy.
The whole family dancing their hearts out at the sangeet. It’s moments like these, with everyone together on stage, that make weddings so special.
Sisters before misters, always. A sangeet isn't complete without a performance with your girls, and this one was full of energy and love.
It's all about having fun with your boys. This groom and his friends took over the stage, and we even got the bride's father to join in at the end.
The bride's brother stealing the show with his amazing solo moment during a group performance. I love adding these special highlights for family members.
The bride's sister (di) and brother-in-law (jiju) setting the stage on fire with their fantastic duet. I choreograph for all family pairings.
POV: Twin sisters stealing the show. It was so much fun choreographing for these two and seeing their perfectly synced performance come to life.
About this collection
I don't believe in 'copy-paste' steps. Instead, I focus on hook steps that are repetitive and catchy, so your friends and family spend less time counting beats and more time enjoying the music. Whether it's a bridesmaid's performance or a surprise groomsmen entry, I build the routine around your group's comfort level, ensuring everyone hits their marks without feeling like they are back in school.
Making Your Squad the Star of the Show
The sangeet is the soul of the wedding, and there is nothing like seeing the entire family, from the bride's siblings to the groom's friends, letting loose on stage. My approach to group choreography is simple: it needs to be high-energy and stress-free. If your cousins are non-dancers or your bridesmaids have two left feet, do not worry. I tailor the routine to the group, ensuring the steps look coordinated and sharp from the front row.
The 'Flash Mob' Factor
One of my favorite things to do is organize a surprise flash mob. These are perfect for Haldi functions or pool parties where you want to shock the couple in the best way possible. I can teach these hook steps to large groups in a short amount of time, even just 24 hours before the event, so you can execute a flawless, spontaneous-looking performance.
Where We Practice
I am completely flexible with the process. Whether you want me to come to your home in Bengaluru for intensive 7-10 day bootcamps or you need someone to travel for a destination wedding in Ooty or abroad, I will be there. I also provide reference video tutorials on WhatsApp so your group can practice in their own time, which helps build confidence before we even step onto the main stage.
Why Group Dynamics Matter
I focus on blocking and spacing to make sure the performance looks like a professional production. We use props like LED umbrellas, dupattas, and light sticks to add that extra bit of 'filmy' flair. My goal is to make sure your friends and family aren't just performing—they are celebrating.
