Want to see what goes into getting that perfect shot? Here’s a peek behind my camera at how I turn raw, unfiltered moments into your cinematic wedding film.

A special before and after video. This reel shows me in action, capturing a shot with my camera rig, followed immediately by the final, polished cinematic result.

About Behind The Lens

When I’m out there, I’m not just waiting for the perfect shot. I’m moving with you. Whether I’m crouched low to catch a candid smile or using a specific lighting angle to frame the venue decor, I don't set up fake poses. If you watch the footage, you'll see my crew and I actively navigating the crowd to stay invisible yet present, ensuring your photos and videos aren't staged.

A lot of people think a cinematic wedding film is just fancy editing and slow-motion shots. But for me, the real work happens in the unscripted seconds between rituals. When I’m shooting a Haldi or a Baraat, I’m constantly adjusting my depth of field and tracking movement to keep the focus on your reaction.

What you see in my films is a result of hours of observational filming. I prefer using natural light whenever possible, but I know when to add a touch of professional lighting to highlight a detail without ruining the ambiance. My team and I prioritize audio as much as video—we use lapel mics to catch those genuine laughs and vows because a film without real sound is just a music video.

My approach is about being a fly on the wall who knows exactly when to step in. If you're planning a wedding in a place like Mahabaleshwar or a hotel in Mumbai, I’m looking at the architecture and the vibe to see how to incorporate it into your story. I don't force scripted drama; I look for the way your family interacts, the messy joy of the dance floor, and the quiet glances between you two. It’s about building a story that actually feels like your day, not a movie set.

I’m Sagar. I’m the guy with the camera, but I’m not here to direct your life like a film script. My team and I just want to be there to catch the real stuff—the messy, happy, chaotic moments that actually matter to you.
