About The Bride's Story: Portraits of Grace
I often find the most honest portraits happen in the quiet minutes before the ceremony starts. Whether it is adjusting your jewellery or taking a breath as you look in the mirror, those are the moments where your true self shines through. I stay in the background with my camera, waiting for that genuine expression, rather than asking you to hold a stiff pose.
For me, a bridal portrait is a piece of art that blends tradition with your personal story. I love playing with light and shadow, using both artistic black and white tones to add mystery and classic colour palettes that make your lehenga’s intricate zari or mirror work pop.
My approach is highly collaborative. I work closely with your makeup artist and the lighting setup to ensure we are enhancing your natural beauty, not masking it. If you are doing a specific tradition like a Kashmiri Saath Mainz or a simple Sikh blessing, I make sure the focus remains on the ritual's sanctity and your role in it.
I treat every bridal session as a documentation of your journey. We will definitely get those classic full-length shots for the family, but the photos you will likely treasure most are the ones where you are laughing with your friends or sharing a tearful smile with your parents. These images are for you to look back on years from now, to remember exactly how it felt to be the bride on your special day.
