About this collection

When we shoot traditional portraits, the biggest worry couples usually have is looking stiff in heavy, formal attire. My approach is to keep the energy light and moving. We will not stand still for long periods. Instead, we walk, laugh, and interact naturally, which makes the intricate details of your silk sarees and sherwanis look dynamic and lived-in rather than posed and rigid.

Traditional Indian wedding outfits are heavy on color and detail, but that does not mean your photos need to feel heavy. Placing these rich, cultural looks into a natural, green setting balances the formality of the clothing with a grounded, intimate feel.

Why shoot in nature? Whether it is the lush greenery of a Navi Mumbai park or a quiet garden spot in South Mumbai, natural light is your best friend. It highlights the sheen of a Paithani saree or the intricate embroidery on a sherwani much better than harsh artificial lights. Plus, it gives you room to move. You are not confined to a studio background, so your movements—holding hands, walking, or just sharing a laugh—look like a genuine chapter of your story rather than a catalog shoot.

How we manage the session: I know dealing with heavy bridal wear or a structured sherwani can be tiring. We keep the pace relaxed. If you need to fix a drape or just take a breath, we do it. The goal is to capture the vibe—that look you give each other when you think the camera is not focusing. I guide you with simple directions like "look at your partner" or "let's walk this path," keeping the interaction real.

Planning your shoot: We can scout locations that offer a mix of textures—stone pathways, tree canopies, and open lawns. This provides variety for your gallery without needing multiple venue changes. If you have specific heirloom jewelry or props that hold meaning, bring them along. We can weave them into the composition to make these portraits not just beautiful, but deeply personal.
