Getting beach photos right means chasing the light, not just finding a pretty spot. I time our sessions specifically for the golden hour to get that warm glow, and we will move around the shoreline to catch the sunset just as it hits the water. Wear something comfortable because we will be walking on the sand and maybe even wading into the waves, so keep the footwear practical.
The beach is unpredictable, which is exactly why I love shooting here. The wind, the changing light, and the tide add a layer of movement you just do not get in a studio. Whether we are at a quiet stretch in Navi Mumbai or one of the city's popular spots, the goal is always to make you forget the camera is there.
I guide you with simple cues like 'chin down' or 'just keep walking,' but the magic happens when you start talking to each other and laughing. You do not need to be a model or know how to pose. If you are planning an outfit, go for flowy fabrics that catch the breeze and avoid anything too stiff. We shoot on Sony Alpha gear, which handles the shifting low light of sunset beautifully, keeping everything crisp and full of life. If you have a specific beach in mind or want to include your dog in the shoot, just let me know. We will block out 2 to 3 hours to make sure we catch that perfect golden glow without feeling rushed.
