About My Process: Behind the Scenes
When you sit in my chair, the first thing I tackle is skin prep. I never jump straight to foundation; I focus on hydrating and priming your skin so the HD makeup doesn’t cake or crack, even during long ceremonies. It is the secret to that seamless, long-lasting finish you see in my photos.
My Approach to HD Makeup
People often see the final photo, but the process is where the art actually happens. With 12 years of experience, I have learned that great makeup is 70% preparation and 30% application. Whether we are doing a bold bridal look or something subtle for a Sangeet, my workflow remains consistent.
The Art of Prep I use professional products like MAC, Huda Beauty, and Kryolan. The real work begins with customizing the base to your skin type. If you have oily or dry skin, I adjust the primers and moisturizers beforehand to ensure your makeup stays put for 10-12 hours.
The Finishing Touches It is not just about the face. My process includes:
- Hairstyling: Whether you want a floral bun or textured, open waves, I focus on security so your hair holds through the dance floor.
- Draping: A saree or lehenga can feel heavy, so I use precise pinning techniques (often 20+ pins) to keep your dupatta secure so you can move freely without worrying about it slipping.
- Eye Detailing: From applying 3D mink lashes to getting that winged liner perfectly sharp, I take my time because these details matter for your close-up shots.
If you have a specific vision or a mood board, bring it along. We will discuss what works best for your features and your outfit, and I will build the look layer by layer until it feels like you—just dialed up for your big day.
