For engagement ceremonies, I typically recommend a soft-glam finish that looks luminous under stage lights and stays sweat-proof through the ring exchange, so you can focus on the celebration rather than touch-ups.
Your engagement is often your first time in front of the camera as a bride, and the lighting is usually very different from your wedding day. Whether you are hosting an intimate Roka or a high-energy cocktail night, the makeup needs to balance elegance with endurance.
I focus on a 'Soft Glam' aesthetic that uses high-end HD liquid bases to give you a radiant, dew-kissed finish. This approach is designed to look smooth under stage lights, preventing a cakey effect while keeping your features defined. Because these events involve a lot of movement, hugs, and warm lighting, I use long-wear setting sprays and sweat-resistant techniques that keep everything in place for hours.
My process is straightforward and collaborative. We spend 2.5 to 3 hours together, which includes:
