Featured Dance and Choreography Highlights
Dance should feel like a celebration, not a test. Here is a look at my 'Easy N Elegant' world, where we trade perfection for pure joy, messy moves, and authentic 'mahaul'.
This is a peek into my 'Easy N Elegant' series, where I break down fun Bollywood choreography into simple steps. This piece is for the trending song 'Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya'.
Getting into the Navratri spirit with some 'Jhoom Re Gori' Garba moves. I love the energy of this folk dance, especially the spins and claps.
The energy in my first workshop was just incredible. This video captures the joy and excitement we all shared while learning a fun group choreography.
A beautiful duet on the romantic Bollywood track 'Ishq Di Baajiyaan'. This choreography shows how dance can tell a story between two people.
This is what happens when the 'cool mausi' is a dancer. A little bit of fun and masti with my nieces and nephews, because dance is for everyone in the family.
Dancing to the super energetic and trending song 'Panwadi'. My classes often include the latest hits to keep things fresh and exciting.
Feeling the festive vibe in this beautiful magenta lehenga. Dance isn't just about movement, it's also about expression and dressing up for the occasion.
Here's a little secret: even I forget my own steps sometimes. It's all part of the process, and in my classes, we just laugh it off and keep dancing.
About Featured
The steps you see here are not about rigid technique; they are about finding your own rhythm. I run my classes as a judgment-free zone, breaking down Bollywood and Garba routines into simple hook steps that you can actually pick up in a session, even if you think you have two left feet.
My 'Easy N Elegant' Philosophy
If you have ever felt shy or awkward on a dance floor, you are exactly the person I love teaching. I believe that dance is a universal language, and my job is to make sure you speak it without stress. Whether we are practicing a trending Bollywood reel or getting ready for the Navratri season with Garba, the focus is always on the 'mahaul' (vibe) rather than hitting every count perfectly.
What I Teach
- Beginner Bollywood: We start slow. I break down songs into bite-sized segments so you can learn at your own pace without feeling overwhelmed.
- Garba & Navratri: As a self-confessed Garba 'paglu' (fan), I focus on stamina and those classic circular formations that make festive nights special.
- Kids' Freestyle: For the little ones, we keep it high-energy. It is less about steps and more about confidence and having fun while burning energy.
I have seen students walk in nervous and walk out grinning. We laugh when we forget steps, we repeat the bits that feel tricky, and we always finish with a smile. If you are looking for a space to just move and enjoy yourself, come join me in Delhi NCR.
