Why I Teach Mehandi
I've been doing bridal mehandi since 2005. What looks simple is actually 'saalon ki mehnat' (years of hard work). Now, I want to help others learn the real skills - not just copying, but creating designs that stand out and mean something.

What I Actually Teach
We start 'bilkul basic se' (from zero) and go all the way up:
- How to make your own empty henna cones (yes, the perfect ones)
- Holding the cone so your lines come out clean and sharp
- Simple practice elements, floral motifs, and grids - all the stuff you see in top professional mehandi design training
- How to flow your patterns so every design looks original
- Building confidence to create new designs, not just copying
- Detailed bridal mehandi techniques for those who want to go next level
How Classes Work
All classes are offline at my Faridabad studio. You learn in a friendly group - everyone supports each other. The 21-day program is pretty intense (4 hours daily), but I also run shorter floral motif mehandi workshops and other formats. We do theory, lots of paper practice, then real hands. I’m always around for tips and honest feedback.
Real Talk
Mehandi is not a shortcut. You’ll need patience and time. But when you see someone smile at your work, 'kaam karne ka mazaa hi alag hai' (the joy of working is something else).

My Story
Main Umesh Kumar hoon, 2005 se mehandi laga raha hoon. Log sochte hain cone le li, bas ho gaya, par asli kaam toh roz ki practice aur naye designs seekhne mein hai. Delhi-NCR se Shimla tak bookings milti hain, kabhi raat ke 1 baje tak bhi mehendi lagayi hai. Palampur ka safar yaad hai, wahin fresh cone bana ke kaam kiya. Clients acche milte hain, respect milti hai, toh thakaan bhi nahi lagti. Studio bhi hai, jahan naye artists ko sikhaata hoon. Sab kuch Mahadev ki kripa se.
