Wildlife Videography in Navi Mumbai's Wetlands

Most people drive past these wetlands without looking twice, but that's where I spend my mornings. I use a Nikon Z8 with telephoto lenses to capture behavior—the hunt, the flight, the nesting—without ever stepping into their personal space. From thousands of flamingos painting the salt pans pink to rare Kingfishers hidden in the foliage, this 'concrete jungle' actually holds a massive amount of life. My Process

I don't believe in disturbing the wildlife for the sake of a frame. Whether I am shooting a 15-second vertical reel for your social media or a 5-minute documentary short, the process involves:

• Observation: I spend time understanding the bird's routine before I even hit record.
• Technique: I shoot in 4K at 120fps, allowing for those slow-motion sequences that show the wing-beat detail you usually miss with the naked eye.
• Authenticity: I capture the reality. If it’s a muddy morning in the wetlands or a harsh afternoon sun, I color-grade the footage to reflect the mood of the environment, not just to make it look 'perfect'.

Technical Specs

I work primarily with the Nikon Z8, allowing for high-bitrate raw files that give us massive flexibility in post-production. Whether we are filming in the thickets of the Western Ghats or the open wetlands of Navi Mumbai, my gear is designed for mobility and sharp, long-lens focus.
